st. paul's chapel & first shearith israel graveyard

day one of "death and gender in new york" led us to visit st. paul's chapel, a beautiful space just a few blocks away from ground zero. the rain made everything look so spooky and beautiful. then, our lovely tour guide at the first shearith israel graveyard let our class explore the private grounds... she also traveled with us to a delicious kosher vegan chinese restaurant for dinner!
